Unravelled is an arts organisation led by Polly Harknett and Caitlin Heffernan. We celebrate innovation in the arts by working across fine art and craft practice and by offering exhibition opportunities in spaces where artists and makers can explore how art can evoke histories, stories and a sense of place.
Our latest project Wetlands Unravelled, funded by Arts Council England, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, the Arts Society and Shape Arts launched on 1 October 2020 at the London Wetland Centre, Barnes, London.
Please note: Wetlands Unravelled is currently closed due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions at the London Wetland Centre. Please click here for the latest news on its reopening and book advance tickets.
From 2012-2015 we worked with the National Trust on a three-year project developing exhibitions for a series of properties in the South East called Unravelling The National Trust.
We also organise workshops, talks and symposia that encourage dialogue, debate and collaboration between artists who might not otherwise work together. Our objective is to inspire novel ideas and ways of working and give artists, makers and the heritage sector the chance to explore new contexts, new challenges and new audiences.
